Our story

The Origin of FentVi: Our story began one Sunday over lunch with friends, where a glass of wine and a simple idea turned into a bold vision.

Remember those lazy Sundays when someone says, “We should open a bar,” and for a moment, it feels like the best idea in the world?

Well, this was one of those Sundays. Paella on the table, kids running wild, and wine (Mallorcan, mostly) flowing. Our crew: Sergio the enologist, Joan the wine farmer, and Christian the entrepreneur. As we sipped, Sergio dropped it casually: he had an idea for a white wine. Something different. Something his. After years of crafting wines for others, he’d never taken the leap himself.

“Why not?” Christian asked. The answer? Paperwork fear and the comfort of a paycheck. But excuses don’t pair well with ambition, or with friends who don’t let you off the hook.

That spark became fire. Unlike the bar dream, this one had legs. We had the know-how, the grapes, and the guts. What we didn’t have was a winery, a budget, or a blueprint.

So we started with what we had: an idea, €1,500 each, and rented space to crush some grapes.

Out of that came our motto: respect ꟾ passion ꟾ creation.

Respect for the terroir, the land, and the wine. We go ecological, low intervention, no additives, just honest expression. What you taste is what the land gave us.

Passion is what fuels us. We drink, taste, share, experiment. It’s how we revived a nearly forgotten Mallorcan grape (Negrella), created a bold white with natural acidity (Rødder), and turned the same grapes into a totally different rosé (Moneot).

Creation is the heart of it all. Talking about wine isn’t enough, we need to make it. Ideas are just noise until they’re bottled.

And so here we are:
Respect. Passion. Creation.
Not just words. Our way of doing things.
